■ Founded in 1989, City Relief has mobilized thousands of volunteers to
compassionately serve those struggling with homelessness by
providing hope and resources that lead to life transformation.
■ Volunteers will meet City Relief staff at the East Harlem outreach site
to assist with a variety of activities:
● set up tables/chairs
● serve soup/beverages/fresh bread
● offer socks
● prepare hygiene kits
● Or travel in teams around the nearby area to invite guests to the
outreach.
■ We will maintain a high level of cleanliness at and around the center.
Volunteers are encouraged to personally interact, through prayer and
conversation, with the guests and help connect guests to City Relief staff for a Life Care Visit– a conversation where hope and resources are offered.
